Kids and Art
Every once in a while, when Roxane is out at class or something, I drag the kids into my studio and we do art. They are very happy doing art; this is something I've learned about kids. They almost always are ready to draw or paint.
A funny thing about kids and watercolor. They want their paints very runny. I don't know whether this is from using gouache in school or what, but I've noticed time and time again working with elementary aged children that they will carefully fill those watercolor pans up to the brim with water to get a nice soupy watercolor mix.
